Leanne Mits - Medal of the Order of Australia
In 2022, the Pope Road Kindergarten community proudly congratulated Leanne Mits on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in recognition of her outstanding service to early childhood education over more than 35 years.
Early Childhood Teacher of the Year
In 2019, Leanne Mits was awarded Early Childhood Teacher of the Year at the Victorian Early Years Awards in recognition of her innovative and exemplary practice.
