We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as our nations First Peoples and recognise that Pope Road Kindergarten is located on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

We honour their enduring connection to Country and believe children and their community have the right to know and learn the stories of the original custodians of this land. Our daily practice reflects our commitment to reconciliation through building respectful relationships, valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and creating opportunities to support and advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through education and example.

We strive to inspire our kindergarten and wider community to contribute to reconciliation and to challenge stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination.
